Kaaterskills Falls

Kaaterskill Falls boasts a 260-foot relief from the top of the waterfall to the base of the second tier. This landmark has been the epicenter of Catskills tourism since the early 1800s, thus Kaaterskill Falls is the most popular and highly visited destination in the Catskill Park Forest Preserve. (30 mins from Camptown)

High Falls Conservation Area

Explore this 1.5-mile loop trail near Hudson, New York. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 38 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. 

Green Conservation Blue Area Trail

Check out this 3.9-mile point-to-point trail near Hudson, New York. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 27 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.

Stissing Mountain Trail

Head out on this 1.8-mile loop trail near Pine Plains, New York. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 27 min to complete. The climb takes you to a mountaintop firetower with stunning 360º views of the Catskills/Hudson Valley region.
